I’ve noticed something interesting about energy and the chakras, especially when we focus too much on the higher centers. Without grounding the lower ones, it’s like all the energy gets stuck up top, and you end up feeling top heavy—that pressure behind the eyes, the tension headaches, that kind of thing. It really comes down to balance.
What’s helped me is turning my attention downward, starting with the root. Spending time there, letting the energy settle, it begins to shift everything. That sense of pressure starts to ease when the flow isn’t all crowded in the upper body. This isn’t something that changes overnight, though. I try to set aside a little time each day, maybe fifteen minutes, just for this. Consistency makes a real difference.
It’s a simple practice, but it’s brought a lot more peace. My own experience tells me that when we ignore any part of the system, the rest has to compensate, and that’s when discomfort sets in. I hope you find what works for you on your own path.
