Ever notice how some people talk about using drugs to reach other worlds? Like they’re opening a door to something spiritual. I’ve had my own moments like that, and I want to share one that really stuck with me.
I once met something… an angelic being, I guess you could call it. It felt like it was right at the edge of everything, holding life and death. The image was a huge, multi-headed snake covered in eyes. If you’ve ever heard stories from people who’ve used things like acid or ayahuasca, that description might sound familiar. It was equal parts terrifying and amazing!
Here’s the thing that experience taught me: in our culture, trying to use drugs to explore these inner spaces is pretty risky if you don’t have the right knowledge or guidance. You’re basically taking a shortcut. Normally, if someone works on their spiritual sight through vision work, they build up their inner strength slowly, like exercising a muscle. Drugs can rip that protective layer away all at once, throwing you straight into deep waters you might not be ready to swim in.
That’s why the safest way to approach this isn’t on your own. It’s within the traditional frameworks that were actually built for it—like certain shamanic or native practices. Those systems have respect and safety woven into them. They prepare you. Without that, you’re just stripping away your own skin and hoping nothing out there bites. It’s a fascinating frontier, but one you’ve got to approach with real care 🙂
