So, I had the weirdest thing happen the other night. Woke up around 2 a.m. to what I thought was a neighbor having a party—just a bunch of overlapping voices in my right ear. Sounded strange, like speech but way too fast. No laughter, no music, just this weird chatter. What a bummer party, eh? Then I realized it was all in my head.
Ever since, that same ear has been giving me constant morse code. Seriously, it’s like a little chiming pattern, and if I stop noticing it for a second, I can always “tune back in” to hear it. There’s also a steady high-pitched tone hanging out with it. The odd part? None of it actually bothers me. It’s just… there.
I’m pretty sure it’s not tinnitus. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I’m just curious what this little internal radio station might be.
