So I was just sitting outside this morning, having a quiet moment with my coffee, when a magpie landed right on the fence in front of me. It didn’t hop around or look away—it just settled there and looked straight at me. We held eye contact for what felt like a long time, maybe almost a full minute, before it flew off. I just sat there calmly, looking back, and the whole thing felt really peaceful, but also strangely meaningful.
It got me thinking because I had a reading not long ago where the person told me I have strong intuition and that animals are often drawn to me. I’ve been sitting with that idea, wondering about it, and then this magpie shows up and acts like it’s delivering a message. It didn’t feel like ordinary bird behavior at all.
I’m really curious now about what a magpie might symbolize. Has anyone else had an experience like this, or do you know anything about their meaning? I’d love to hear your thoughts or any insights you might have.
