How do I control and understand my clairvoyant gift?

Hi—so short version of my story is that around 12 years old, my auntie's friend was giving her a card reading and I touched the deck (which I wasn’t meant to do)... She then said to me, “U have a gift, don’t u?”... Around 15, I had a bad time mentally and turned to tarot readings—which I felt helped me so much. I would do friends and family, and a lot of the time be shocked by the things I would feel... I then read people I didn’t know about, and the energies sometimes scared me. I disconnected from the spiritual path for a while, but then noticed things... I could see a stranger passing by my workplace and pick up things—I wanted to go say to them. This also would happen when meeting people—I would ask them random things about them I knew and decided to post in a group offering free readings from just a picture—no info for members. This has blown me away... I have read 5/6 people in the last week, and they are telling me how accurate I am and that I shouldn’t doubt myself. The feedback has been so positive, but I’m still trying to understand—what I’m being told is claircognizant gift I have? And advice on how to help!me channel the gift? And also—after two strong readings, I went to bed rather exhausted and was noticing a kind of mist in the room—sometimes it would draw closer to me, and I could almost visualize a face (I thought—am I hallucinating?)... Also small flashes of light—almost like lightning, bright fast flash of light out of the corner of my eye. I feel this is because I have awakened my spiritual gift, but not sure I’m ready to see things... 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

Can anyone relate? Offer advice on how to improve? Or would like to send me just a photo and let me read them—just to let me know if accurate?

Attention is key where your attention goes, your energy follows, and you'll end up there too. Tonight, when you hit the pillow, take a moment. Go deep inside and find the light that's there. Readings can really wear you down... physically and spiritually. Gotta look after yourself, you know? Pace yourself. Gifts like that... they can start feeling like curses if you push them too far.

Yes, this totally reminds me of myself! 😊 I only see images of me fully submerged in water. I'm a knower and a feeler. The flashes do come, but not often… I love doin' tarot, and even though I'm still learning the cards, it's so helpful to focus on the future when you're letting go of the past! I get this thing. Like, I’m seeing movement at the corner of my view, and it doesn’t want to be noticed. Mostly at night, though. I’ve been waking up not feeling alone, some heavy presence there.

It was getting pretty spooky. Someone told me just to demand it leave me alone when I sleep. Oddly enough, I’ve slept through the nights since.
