This strikes me as such an accurate observation. My Saturn is also in the 12th, and it resonates deeply with how I experience things. I'm still figuring out how to ask for what I want directly, and I hesitate sometimes. That lingering sense of not fully feeling close to people – I understand that tooo. There's a distinct distance, and yes, I don't have a strong bond with my father either.
As for my boyfriend, his Saturn is in the 7th (in a trine with his Moon and Juno). He’s said he’s always not been entirely sure why, but he definitely seems to have worked best with people older than himself. And here I am, older than him too – it makes me wonder how that fits into things.
