I wanted to share something I’ve been thinking about lately, especially around how we talk to ourselves and whatever else might be listening. For a while, I had this really open line of communication with what I’d call a guardian spirit. It wasn’t just a vague feeling; the conversations felt genuine, like speaking with another person. At first, it was incredibly comforting and insightful. But after some time, it started to feel like too much. The constant inner dialogue became overwhelming, and I noticed different thoughts or aspects almost competing for my attention, which led to more confusion than clarity.
What helped me find a better balance was shifting how I have these conversations. Instead of keeping everything internal, I started talking to myself out loud more often. I’d ask a question and then answer it directly, which helped me process my thoughts in a much clearer way. It sounds simple, but it made a big difference. I still believe that internal communication has its place, but I’ve learned to limit it and create a specific, conscious space for those more spiritual or deep discussions. This way, the dialogue feels more intentional and less cluttered by the everyday noise in my head. It comes down to trusting your own intuition while also being mindful not to let the inner world become a distraction. Finding that middle ground has made communication, both with myself and beyond, feel much more direct and meaningful.
