SmileyC Yes, sharing experiences can be fun, therapeutic, and educational at the same time. I myself am still discovering that we humans are all different in many ways.
In my opinion, places like this forum might be the best for getting useful advice. Finding mature and experienced advice seems to almost be a thing of the past.
I tend to get very wordy (my first draft reply exceeded 600 words), so I will attempt to be brief.
I share similar 'talents' as your own (except sensing deceased people's emotions thank goodness! 😉 ), so I have an idea of how the perceptions influence one's life.
In my own life and occupational skill (electronics servicing), it is common for me to critically analyze everything while with the thought of finding faults down to the tiniest details. The behavior is great for business, but not for home life. If I focused on only sensing my own future problems, then yeah, I would likely be disappointed at what I perceived (too many problems already!! 😉 ).
My solution was to enter into my home office alone, where I spent years writing a fictional book of love (currently over 1.3-million words and still growing). All positive stories, no negatives, and all about love. Now when negatives of life arise, I have a place to go where there is great beauty. One of the strongest effects of the book is that it causes the reader to cry with love and happiness for another person's happiness.
And there, for those of us who much too easily sense our futures, one choice is to make today's life beautiful with love, so that the future days will be sensed to be of love. For myself, my life would be barren and meaningless without the perceptions of future happiness.
