Hi Midnight, Here's my take on this. I believe we reincarnate — that we’re individualized aspects of Source Consciousness, each of us carrying a spark of that greater whole. I think we come into these lifetimes, wherever they may be — Earth or elsewhere — to experience and expand in different ways.
But what I’ve always wondered is why Source even needed to do that in the first place. If God or Source is all that is and ever will be, then why split into countless individual expressions of itself?
If Source decided to “divide,” almost like an atom splitting, what was the reason? Was it curiosity? Boredom? A desire to explore? Because sometimes, when life feels painful or unfair, it can seem almost cruel — like a cosmic experiment we never asked to be part of.
I can understand why an individual soul would seek growth through experience. But for All That Is — something already complete, infinite, and self-aware — why would there be any need to do this at all? If it already knows itself, then why even bother?
