I know this might be a bit controversial, but honestly, I don’t think meditation is for everyone! Personally, I found it really tough and I’ve come to believe it was a soul level choice for me not to follow that path. What I did discover was a kind of parts work (IFS) where I connected with, helped, and healed different aspects of myself. After about two years, it hit me: this actually was a form of meditation in its own way! But instead of just pushing thoughts aside, I got to know the parts of me where those thoughts came from. And the best part? I gained a lot of the same benefits as medi tation, plus healing for old emotional wounds and real personal transformation. Instead of ignoring my thoughts, I learned to understand and support them so they could settle down and didn't need to be so loud anymore!
